Attend this free, fun, family event on Saturday, May 14 at the Bell Street Park in East Palo Alto from 10am-3pm. Youth and families will share the joy and fun in reading. There will be food vendors, free refreshments, and free giveaways.
Jeffrey Camarillo, Vice Principal at East Palo Alto Academy, is also a Teaching Ambassador Fellow for the US Department of Education. Jeff participated in an event with Arne Duncan, US Secretary of Education during NBA All-Star weekend in Los Angeles.
Going into 2010-11, the school put in place new leadership to realign instruction, improve the learning climate, bolster staff effectiveness and carry the program forward.
