Special Education
Stanford New Schools uses an Inclusion model of providing special education services. All students are in general education classes. Resource Specialists and Paraeducators work both in the classroom and in 1:1 or small group settings to provide support. Speech and Language Clinicians and an Occupational Therapist work in 1:1 or small group settings. A bilingual School Psychologist provides assessments, 1:1 and small group counseling sessions, and direct support to teachers and parents.
